The Amravati Archaeological Museum contains Buddhist relics which were excavated from different sites in Andhra Pradesh. The antiques belong to the time period between the 2nd century and 12th century and contain chakras, panels, railings and sculptures.
The first gallery exhibits images of Buddha, coins, inscribed relief of Buddha from Gummadidurru, terracotta pottery and figurines, beads, limestone pillar fragments, dome slabs and other sculptures. The second gallery exhibits relics from the 2nd century which include drums, dome slabs, pillars, Buddha images from Alluru and the stone wheel from Lingarajapalli.
