This fishing village is situated on the Indian Ocean and is a popular spot for surfing. It is very laid back place where one can enjoy the beach, the food and catch the waves. If you are not the surfing kind then the neighboring areas offer great opportunity to see the elephants, birds and crocodiles. This place was considerably damaged during the 2004 tsunami.
