Arunachal Pradesh, meaning "The Dawn Hit Mountains", is a north eastern state in India. It has atleast 19 major and 80 minor tribes. Arunachal Pradesh shares its borders with Assam, Nagaland, Burma, Bhutan and Tibet. Itanagar is the capital state of Assam.
In the past Arunachal Pradesh was more or less closed to tourism. But, in the last few years steps have been taken by the administration to develeop tourism. Indian nationals visiting Arunachal need an Inner Line Permit while Foreign Nationals need a Restricted Area Permit.
