Arthur Seat Point is rightly called as ‘Queen of all points’ in Mahabaleshwar peaking at 1348 m. The point is named after Arthur Mallet, who first built a house here. On the road to Arthur point is the ‘Tiger Spring’ which serves as a water source for animals like tigers and panthers. Scenic views from this point include: Savitri Valley formed by Savitri River, Konkan Valley, thick forests of Jaoli Valley and Brahmaranya of Deccan Plateau. Noteworthy is the geographic distinction of Konkan and Deccan Plateaus which is seen only from this point. The riskily approached Window Point is located 60m below Arthur Point. Nearby attractions of tourist interest are Castle Rock, Marjorie Point, Elphinstone Point and Savitri Point.
