This 863feet tall waterfall is set among the pine trees which makes it more beautiful a sight. It is created by the tributary of Walawe river, Kuda Oya. The path taking you to the falls gives you ampel opportunity to enjoy the nature.
It is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and one of the top 300 in the world.

How to reach 

This waterfall comes under Horton Plains National Park, but is most easily accessible from Haputale town. Coming from Haputale towards Ratnapura, this fall lies towards the right side of the A4 highway after some 15-20 kms and is visible from the highway itself.
