This museum is a visitors delight for picnic and strolling around the garden. The collection inside the museum belongs to Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad III, the former ruler of the state.
Opened in 1921, on the ground floor you will find the European Art collection. On the other hand , the Indian Art section comprises of manuscripts from Rajasthan, potraits of various Maharajas, illustrations of Bhagavad Purana and many more. The collection also extends itself to geological and zoological collections .
