Begnas lake is the second largest lake of Pokhara and is set amidst a hillock loaded with greenery. This is the best place if one wants to enjoy peaceful view of the beautiful mountains, valley and scenery. If you are bored and want to spend time alone, well this is the place to be. Tourists can indulge in boating and fishing here.
When to go
October-April are the best months to visit this place though fishing and boating is fun during monsoons as well.
How to reach
Begnas lake is just 13 km from Pokhara on the road towards Kathmandu. You can take a local autorickshaw or hire a cab from Pokhara. You can also go on bikes and bicycles.
