Bellary is a historical city in the Bellary district of Karnataka. There are many fables associated with how the city got its name. The city is established mainly between the two huge granite rocks and are also the dominant features of the city. The rocks are named as Bellari Gudda and Kumbara Gudda. The Bellary Fort and the Colonial Buildings built during the British empire are a few places to see here. There are also some parks and gardens where you can go. Some of them are Kuntegadda Park, Bellary zoo, Kaategudda Park, Nagaruru Narayanarao Park in Vaddarabanda etc.
