Butwal is a town located in Rupandehi district in Western Nepal. It is 242 Km west of Kathmandu. There is not much to see but one cannot miss out on exploring old town on the west bank of the river Tinau. There is a small pedestrian bridge across the river and also there are many beautiful waterfalls. Other places of interest are Butall hill park, Siddha baba temple, Manimukunda park etc.
