The Central Bhutan believes and lives in mythologies. The innocence of the local people here is as unadulterated as the wilderness of the region. The central Bhutan offers few of the oldest monasteries, The great Trongsa dzong, amazing royal palaces, park forests, temples built around caves etc.
The roads in Central Bhutan have steep turns, falls and climbs. One has to be extra careful while driving and journey, in Central Bhutan, should be avoided during nights.

Bhumtang yathra, the best woolen textile of Bhutan' is a must buy. It can be bought in any form- shawls, jackets, hats, bags, socks, shirts, dress, table cloth, cushion covers or just a wall hanging.
