Travellers landing at the international airport can take taxi to the city which is 30kms away. Bus service is available from the airport. Traveller can take route no 187 which connects Katunayake to the city, although travellers might find it slightly difficult to travel through bus due to communication gap and over-crowding. If landing at the domestic airport, you will have access only to AeroLanka Shuttle. Being an Air Force base the only transport available to & from this airport
