Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris and is a famous picnic spots for the people of Coimbatore. The place is surrounded by tea gardens and the climate of Coonoor is mild as compared to Ooty. It is very pretty place and a bird watcher's delight. You can find many different varieties of birds here. Situated at an altitude of 1800 mts above sea level, it is an ideal place for trekking leading into the Nilgiris. Sim's park, Lamb's rock, Law's falls and Katary's falls are few key attractions here.
