Daman is a village in Makwanpur District in Central Nepal. It is one of the most beautiful villages in the country and is surrounded by majestic and spectacular views of mountains and natural scenery. It is situated on the Tribhuvan Highway and has one of the most clear and breath taking views of the Himalayas from Dhaulagiri in the west to Mount Everest in the east.
Daman is located at an altitude of 2322 metres. There is a small gompa to visit and also a temple which is known as Shri Rikeshwar Mahadev mandir which is of religious importance to the local people.
