Spreading over an area of 64 acres in Gorai Village, Essel World is the world’s largest amusement park. A twin park was built near Essel World – ‘Water Kingdom’ for water rides. The parks are well maintained with 30,000 floral species, attracting 1.8 million people annually.

The park has more than 80 rides which are divided into 12 Children’s Rides, 8 Adult Rides and 14 Family Rides. These include innumerable free games and some payable games. Some of the amusing rides are Fuji Aqua Drive, Slippery Sultan, The Great Apple, Nataraj Caterpillar, Go Carting, Senior Dodgem, Mini Tele Combat, Tilt-A-Wheel and many more. Arctic Circle is India’s first ice-skating rink spread across 3,400 sq.ft with 7 inches thick ice maintained at 5 degrees. Wet Park is a park inside Essel World with an entry ticket of 50 Rs and has 6 amusement water rides. There are multiple restaurants, fast food centers and coin games inside Essel world. Visitors can choose to eat anything from Italian, Chinese to traditional Indian food inside the theme park. Visitors are charged an entry fee of 175 Rs for Essel World and Rs. 200 for Water Kingdom and entry for senior citizens is free. There are several concession offers during monsoons and winters, while summers are crowded with visitors. It is a good idea to check current entry fees and offers at the Essel World website: The park remains open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Ferry services are available from Gorai and Marve Beaches to approach this theme park.
