The village is populated with stretches of farms, lush green forests and the the amazingly unique costumes. Galing is the perfect example of rural life drenched in simplicity. The semi-nomadic tribes can be found here, who are known as Merak-sakten (brokpas). Their main occupation is breeding and rearing yaks, and farming. There are multiple treks in and around this place but the one tested and proven is the trek from Ranjung to Galing.
This is a small trek that can be done within one day, or two days if you want to stop and enjoy the culture of local people.
