Gudalur is a town in the Nilgiris at the bottom of Ooty region hills. The climb to Ooty is roughly 40+ kms from Gudalur through a very scenic route and usually great roads. Gudalpur is also the gateway to three states: Karnataka, Kerela and Tamil Nadu. It is a picturesque location with lot of tea farms. Most of the local people are dependent on tea farming. There are a few view points from where you can enjoy the splendid views of the area.
