One amongst the 5 beaches in Gokarna, the Half moon beach is separated from Om beach by a cliff and one can reach here climbing over the mountain and descending to the other end. The sands of this beach are lined with palm trees and traditionally built huts. The water of this beach is suitably calm for swimming and tourists engage in pedal boating, camping, volley ball, etc during their stay here.
