Jaipur Airport is located in Sanganer approximately 13km from Jaipur City and has flights to many Indian cities such as Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Kolkata, Amritsar, Chennai and Bangalore. Almost all major airlines fly to Jaipur from various cities.
By Train
There are three main railway stations at Jaipur - Jaipur Junction, Durgapura and Gandhinagar, Jaipur Junction being the main one. Jaipur is well connected to other Indian Cities and there are many trains to Jaipur from Delhi, Agra, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Jaisalmer, Kota, Haridwar and Indore. Apart from this Jaipur Junction is a major stop for many long distance trains that go to Goa, Kozhikhode, Mangalore, Bangalore, Mysore, Kochi, Puri, Varanasi, Lucknow, Allahabad and Chennai.
By Road
Jaipur is connected to Delhi via National Highway 8 (NH8) and takes around 4 hours. The bus service is excellent and there are many types of buses including volvos, AC buses, Delux and semi Delux buses that are available. The start points from Delhi are Dhalua Kuan, Bikaner House and Pandara Road and from Jaipur are Sindhi Bus Stand or Narayan Singh Circle. The buses take anywhere between 5-7 hours.
