Kalsubai Peak is a part of Shayadri Ranges in Western Ghats of Maharashtra. The hill summit reaches a height of 1,646 m or 5,400 ft. which is the highest in Maharashtra. Tourists reach here by following several trekking routes, the most popular of which begins at Bari. During the 3-hour trek, one comes across a streaming water body if visiting in monsoons, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, 3 iron ladders and a well. The summit has a small temple dedicated to Goddess Kalsubai and the point gives views of forts - Ramsej, Harihargad, Brahmagiri, Anjaneri, Ghargad, Bahula, Tringalwadi and Kavnai and several towns and villages including Harishchandraghad and Pabhargad.
