One of the World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka and also known as Senkadagalapura and Maha Nuvra, Kandy was the last capital of Sri Lanka during 'ancient king era'. It is a place of veneration for the Buddhist and also houses the Tooth relic. It is also known for its scenic beauty and tea plantations.
