The Kankwari fort is located amidst Sariska National Park, 21 km away from entry point. During Mughal Rule, Emperor Aurangzeb jailed his brother, Dara Shikoh for a life time at Kankwari Fort, which was specially built for this purpose. About thousands of guards were also housed in the fort to monitor his actions during the life time exile.
