Built in 1922, the Clock tower was originally dedicated to the brave soldiers of this province who perished in the First World War. It was also dedicated to those soldiers also who sacrificed themselves in Second World War in 1945.
This tower is in the middle of the city and is flanked by the bus stand, central market area and official buildings like courthouse, post office etc. It is pretty much a landmark in itself in this city.
