The points in valleys of Mahabaleshwar were traced by British rulers and are named after them. One such point is the Marjorie Point located on the way to Arthur’s Seat Point. One can see the Shayadri Ranges and drop offs of Konkan Valley from here. Marjorie Point is about half a km below the Konkan Valley and nearby attractions are Savitri Valley and Point, Castle Rock and Arthur’s Point. Tourists can reach here by trekking, horse riding or using taxis.
