In the lush green regions of Lonavala, is a tiny hillock called Morvi Dongar. A number of trekking routes lead to Morvi Dongar and it is also the starting point for few other treks. The hillock has Tung Fort or Kathingad on one side and Devgad Fort on the other. The Pawna Lake one side of the hillock adds to scenic attraction. With a thick green cover, Morvi Dongar has a wide variety of trees, animals and avian population. It is often visited for ‘Bird-watching’ and is considered a picnic spot.
