Lying 20 km south of Gokarna beach, this beach is the only one of its kind with an ‘Om’ sign formed on its shore. 'Om' is considered to be a spiritual symbol in Hindu mythology. Om beach is well connected by road and one can reach here by buses, taxis or rickshaws. The surrounding rocks, sandy shore and breeze make the beaches of Gokarna perfect picnic spots. Tourists can engage in water sports like swimming, surfing and boating under the guidance of experts. One can stay in hotels or lodges at minimal rates near the beach.
