Located at 2250m above sea level Paro valley is the most beautiful town in the whole of Bhutan, the river flowing gently further adds to its beauty. The main street passes through a row of houses and shops which represent the traditional architecture.
Its part of the Golden triangle of popular tourist destination in Bhutan along with Jakar and Punakha. The most famous monastery of Bhutan, Taktsang Monastery, is also located in Paro.
