The best time is from October - April. In winters, the temperature can get considerably low to -2 to -15 degrees Celsius.
It is comparably hotter in summers as well. In the months of June and July, the mercury rises upto 38 degree Celsius sometimes. Mosoons from July - September end are wet months as Pokhara is known to have highest rainfall in the country.
The only international airport in Nepal is at Kathmandu. But one can board an airflight from Kathmandu and reach Pokhara's regional airport in around forty mintues.

You can reach Pokhara by tourist buses or the local buses from Kathmandu. Pokhara is around 9 hours drive by bus. The charges can vary from Rs 300-600, depending on which bus is boarded.
