The Raymond Monument is a 7 meter high Tomb dedicated to Michael Joachim Marie Raymond who was a French General. He was known as Musa Ram to Hindus and Musa Rahim to Muslims and was able to garner respect from everyone including the army. He was a close friend of the Nizam.
The area around the monument has been developed into a beautiful garden which is known as Moosarambagh. Also a 28 pillared structure is located close to the Tomb. The open structure resembles a Grecian temple.
The tomb is a conical structure made from black granite slabs. An annual fair called Urs is held here annually. The Tomb can be visited on all days except Friday. The Tomb is situated in Malakpet near the Osmanagar Palace on a small hill (100 feet).
