Bangalore is the city of many churches spread all over. The second oldest church after ST. Mary, is the St. Patrick’s Church located on Brigade Road. This 150 year old church was constructed between 1841 – 1844 by Irish men, Gail Hot and Chevalier. The Church was modified and renovated few times and the most distinguished features here are the two twin spires that soar into the sky. Dedicated to Saint Patrick, this church has 12 apostles, symbolized by the 12 pillars found inside. The tomb of Lady Bowring is present in the church.
