Swayambunath is a Buddhist Stupa situated on top of a hill 7.1 kms from Kathmandu.

The complex has a stupa and a lot if shrines and temples.

The complex can be approached by foot by climbing about 365 stairs or by road from the South which leads to the SouthWest enterance.
