Amongst many lakes in Lonavala, Tungarli is a significant one. This artificial lake is a source of water supply across Lonavala. Tungarli Dam built over the lake supplies water to the town during summer. Nearby Tungarli Village, a garden around the lake and lush greenery in surroundings make it a popular picnic spot. Tourists can take cabs or rickshaws to reach here from Lonavala Station, which is at a distance of 3 km.
