Venkatappa Arte Gallery is situated in Kasturba road, near Bangalore's government museum. It portrays the famous work of legendary painter Mr. Venketappa, in its ground floor. Other breath taking paintings include the Ooty Lake, sunrise in Ooty, Nilgiri hills, Kodaikanal, etc. On the first floor of the art gallery, one can find works of eminent painters like Mr. Hussain, Rekha Rao, N.S.Bendre, Hariram, Vasudev, Hanumaia, Yusuf Arakkal. There is a separate section to honor the wooden carving master pieces of C.P. Rajaram. The second floor of this gallery is completely dedicated to the famous paintings of K.K. Hebbar including elements of earth, namely Prithvi (earth), Vayu (wind), Jal (water), Agni (fire) and others like the Sea Shore, Death, Nagamandala, etc. The gallery remains open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for public and is closed on Wednesdays.
