A small hill station close to Salem in Tamil Nadu. Some 220+ kms from Bangalore and ~250km or so from Chennai.
Also called poor man's Ooty:), Yercaud derives its name from the Yeri river. The place is famous for its coffee plantations and orange groves. The climate remains pleasant for most part of the year. The place has some very pretty places to see. Anna park, Arthur Seat, Emerald lake, Lady's Seat are few key attractions.
